Pilar Galvan is a graduate of Escuela Libre de Derecho (2010) and was admitted to practice with the thesis work entitled “La obligación del Estado mexicano de reparar las violaciones graves de derechos fundamentales”, which received a special recognition. In 2012, she obtained a diploma on Amparo and new constitutional framework on human rights from the same educational institution. She studied a Master’s Degree on Governance and Human Rights at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and in fall 2014, she served as an intern at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
Her experience is related to administrative law in general, mainly on administrative and constitutional litigation (since 2009 onwards). Likewise, she has experience in procedures before governmental agencies, including punitive administrative procedures. She is fluent in Spanish English and has basic knowledge of French.
